Susan and Nick got married on Thursday at the Salt Lake Temple with a reception at The Point. I can finally post Susan's bridal pictures I shot a month ago. We went all over town hitting up some beautiful locations and the weather was a little chilly but overall wonderful. I just love Susan's bird cage veil and vintage inspired wedding dress. Very classy.
Wow! I had a blast shooting Natasha's bridal pictures. She looks stunning in her custom made wedding dress. I just love her whole bridal look. It's very classy and romantic. It was cold when we shot her bridal pictures but we had a mix of overcast and sunny sky's which made for some really beautiful pictures. I LOVE this photo! The dramatic sky and color are beautiful. My husband said it looks like it should be in a bridal magazine. This would look amazing as a large gallery wrapped canvas.
Its hard to figure out what to title this photo shoot because it was created purely for myself. Often times as an artist you have all these thoughts spinning around in your head and the best way to express it is to create something visual. I've had these images in my head for over 6 months now and I had to get it out of my system for my own sanity. I'll admit that most of my work is bright and colorful. I wanted to create some images that I felt were more of the opposite end of what I photograph on a daily basis. I contacted Jayme and she was excited about my idea so we scheduled the photo shoot. I searched for weeks for the perfect dress for her to wear and hit dead ends every time. I finally decided that Jayme was going to wear my wedding dress. The day of the photo shoot came and my dress fit Jayme like a glove. I love creating art for arts sake.
