Lily is such a sweetheart! I had so much fun shooting her boudoir pictures inside the studio and getting to know her. She gave her husband a little black book full of her favorite pictures for their wedding night. When I asked Lily if I could post some pictures on the blog she said, "I think it's important other women can see what awesome pictures you take. By the way, John thought it was amazing. I couldn't believe how much he liked it! So thanks again!" -Lil
Introducing the super sexy Couture Boudoir Album. Leather, baby! This album feels good. Real good. The leather is so supple and soft. The Couture Boudoir Album is an 8x8 flush mount album with a genuine leather cover and thick photo paper pages. The couture boudoir album comes in some pretty spiffy colors. A fast turn-around time of 3 weeks for this high quality sexy book. As you can see from the pictures this album is much larger then the 5x5 Little Black Book (red).
I've been doing a ton of boudoir sessions lately. We had a blast and Jennifer told me she felt very comfortable with the whole session. Jennifer's outfits: long black gown, pink halter, purple chemise, red corset, and several panties. Her husband is going to love these!
Who would have thought that a scorpion could be sexy. Well, if the scorpion is on a super sexy girl then that scorpion could be sexy as well. We had a blast and Valerie Osmond from Archetype Beauty did Jennifer's hair and makeup. Jennifer looked stunning. I'm happy to announce that the OpieFoto Studio is ready for boudoir sessions. Everything in the room is brand spanking new. I owe a special thanks to my husband who slaved away with me for 9 strait hours hanging curtains and setting up the bed. They guy that delivered the mattress for the bed said, "You have a bed in the living room?" I said, "Yeah, its a guest bed." I figured it would be way to complicated to explain why the bed is REALLY in the living room. Then the guy asked, "Are you a painter?" I said, "Nope, I'm a photographer." The funny thing is that the colorful horizontal painting over the fire place is a painting I made last year. When someone asks what I do for a living I like to say, "I shoot people."
I'm a big fan of theknot.com because I used it to help plan my own wedding. I'm a fellow knottie... err nestie. Whatever! Anyway, I came across this article on their website: Photography: The Boudoir Trend
Here's an update of the boudoir shoot I did on Saturday. Lara let me post a few pictures on my blog (I always ask). Lara and Keith are having a destination wedding at Key West in January. Lara brought a ton of outfits for the boudoir shoot and we ran out of light before we ran out of things to wear. Lara has the most amazing eyes. Check out the photos.
