Gwen - Utah Boudoir Photographer

On Thursday I shot Gwen's boudoir pictures inside the studio. We had a blast! She is giving the pictures to her husband in 2 weeks when they get married. I'm really excited to be photographing her wedding on Aug. 15th and a trash the dress session afterwards. I added a few new things to the studio: two pink antique chairs, a large mirror, and GASP a black velvet slip cover for the orange couch.

OpieFoto Studio - Boudoir Sessions

I'm happy to announce that the OpieFoto Studio is ready for boudoir sessions. Everything in the room is brand spanking new. I owe a special thanks to my husband who slaved away with me for 9 strait hours hanging curtains and setting up the bed. They guy that delivered the mattress for the bed said, "You have a bed in the living room?" I said, "Yeah, its a guest bed." I figured it would be way to complicated to explain why the bed is REALLY in the living room. Then the guy asked, "Are you a painter?" I said, "Nope, I'm a photographer." The funny thing is that the colorful horizontal painting over the fire place is a painting I made last year. When someone asks what I do for a living I like to say, "I shoot people."

Early this morning I shot Aubrey's boudoir pictures inside the brand spanking new OpieFoto Studio. Thats right, the studio is now ready for boudoir sessions. No more planning several weeks in advance and booking a hotel room. Of course I always encourage planning ahead and booking an amazing hotel room but if its just not in the plan we can always do a boudoir session in the studio. Aubrey will be giving her fiance these sexy pictures next week as her wedding gift to him. He's going to love them!
