Guest Sign in Engagement Book

I remember I purchased a guest sign in book for $80 from an online company for our wedding. I ordered the book with 40 white blank pages and an monogram on the cover. I was so excited to have guests write their congratulations and advice then sign their name in the book. I would have a book full of little notes from our guests! Great idea, right? Well, I ended up with the first 2 pages full of names and the rest of the book blank. Not at all what I had in mind for our guest sign in book. So I came up with the idea of the Engagement Book to use as a guest sign in book or to pass around during the reception for guests to write notes and advice to the bride and groom. The book is full of pictures from the engagement shoot with plenty of room for guests to write things in your book. Even if some pages are left blank there are pictures on that page to make it look full and interesting. The guest sign in book is a landscape 10x8 hardbound linen book with a custom dust jacket cover. I'm offering these books at a modest $75.

Ogden Train Station - Jordan and Joanna

Getting hitched on September 7, 2007.

Yesterday, I shot Jordan and Joanna's engagement pictures. We were going to go up Ogden canyon and take pictures at a waterfall up there but Jordan said the waterfall was all dried up and had no water. So we found another location with a waterfall last minute and I must say it was beautiful. Then we headed over to the Ogden Train Station for some pictures at the same location as the wedding. Yup, they are getting married at the Ogden Train Station. Isn't that neat? The lobby of the train station had these huge benches and bright windows. The light in that room was just amazing. I'm really looking forward to shooting their wedding in September.

Hal & Kathy

Getting hitch on September 8, 2007.

I had a lot of fun today shooting Hal and Kathy's engagement pictures. We met at the Sugar House coffee shop and took pictures around Sugar House. Then we went over to the 337 Project and we were all happy the building wasn't torn down yet. Kathy was so funny because we walked past the Blue Boutique store and she posed just like the mannequin in the window. Then we walked a little further down and Hal wanted to pose like the male mannequin's wearing speedo's in front of Cockers. You are in for a colorful urban treat. Enjoy.
