Michelle & Collin [Portraits]
So Michelle and Collin's photo shoot totally rocked! I shot these portraits on Tuesday afternoon. You don't have to be getting married to get some awesome pictures. These two have been married for a while now but they were all over each other like newly weds. I shot Michelle's boudoir pictures in December and she sent the photos to Collin who was in Iraq. He 's in town for 2 weeks so we got together for a photo shoot. While Collin was in Iraq he sent Michelle pictures of curious George in various locations. They brought him along for the photo shoot. Enjoy!

Burns Family - 12.08.07
Yesterday afternoon I had the pleasure to photograph Rebecca and her twin boys Joshua and Jacob. Rebecca wanted to include a photo of her husband, who is in Iraq, in the pictures. It was so cute to see the boys light up when they saw the photograph of their father. It was a super quick photo session because their was fresh snow on the ground and it was snowing a little bit.

Graf Family Christmas Pictures
This afternoon I photographed one of my favorite families and good friends Andrea, Greg, and little Dylan. We originally planned on taking the pictures at Liberty Park but when I woke up with morning to a large blanket of snow I quickly called them and we changed the location to the Salt lake City Library. I love the window light in the library and the modern architecture. Then we went across the street to the city and county building for some pictures in the fresh white snow. The Christmas decorations on the building added such a nice touch. After all these are family pictures for their Christmas card. I have to admit I fell in love with little Dylan because he's such a chatter box and a wiggle worm. Now I want a baby!

Stella + Buster & Kacy + Nate, 10.18.07
It was a fun day at the dog park for Stella and Buster. We went over to memory grove to hit up the off leash dog trail and the beautiful fall leaves. The weather was perfect - overcast and no rain. I'm not sure if some of you know but an overcast day is the best lighting for pictures. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the photo shoot.

I just love this shot of Kacy and Stella.

Family Pictures at Exchange Place
Check out how hip these family pictures turned out. Now, who wants to get family pictures done at exchange place? The Ross Family! This family was such a fun bunch to take pictures of because they kept making each other laugh. They were also up for some more creative poses and want some graffiti in the background. Enjoy!

Family Pictures at Memory Grove
Brian, Brooke, and Zoe are such a fun bunch. I had a lot of fun at memory grove today shooting their family pictures. Zoe was really excited about all the other dogs playing at the park and didn't care about the ball and dog treats I brought along for her to look at the camera. It was a bit of a challenge to get her to look in my direction when all she wanted to do was go play with the other dogs. I was a little worried it would rain on us so I brought along a large black umbrella. It sprinkled for a little while and then cleared up again. I found it better to embrace the rain instead of fight it so we have a few shots with the umbrella. Enjoy.

Finally! We figured out how to get Zoe to look at the camera. Just smash her head in between Brian and Brooke's head. We even got a smile out of Zoe! yes!
First up, Zoe kept looking at Brooke and not at the camera. Still a fun shot.
